Charm, modern Confort & Conviviality - 3 Bedrooms

Welcome to « La Traversée du Bonheur » situated right in the middle of the french region « Bourgogne Franche-Comté » , in a lovely little village, for a long or short stay according to your wishes.

The guest house is facing the Château of Commarin . A few minutes of the Panthier Lake , of medevial sites, in less than one hour’s drive you’ll get to Dijon ( the main city), Beaune and the vineyards of Burgundy. We are very near Morvan which is a very picturesque area.

Terrace & Outside

200 meters above the house you can enjoy a magnificent sight on a beautiful lanscape. A pique-nique area is available there.

As for the house itself you will enjoy a spacy garden(600m²) , a nice resting place especially for summer evenings .

Living / Dining Room

The house itself comprehends a large living space (with exposed beams) creating a nice and cosy atmosphere (dining room , sitting room, kitchen area with its open bar).

Bedrooms

3 bedrooms painted in soft colours are fitted with all the necessary conviniences and high quality beddings.

Bathrooms

Each floor is provided with two large bathrooms with modern shower fittings as to make you as comfortable as you can expect.

Children are welcome . We have got a special game area (a tent and different games are available ). We have got o cot for a baby accomodation.

In each room you will see lots of objects (wooden vases, pictures ol local wildlife, …) made by local craftsmen or artist who respect traditions and environment. You will be able to meet them if you feel like it .

• Maxime , a chef who comes to your home and will surpass  your expectations with a unique culinary experience, with dishes as pleasing  to the eye as they are to the palate (You will find all our contact details  in the « Greedy Moments » section)

• Marie, for a pleasant wellness massage at home (You will find all our contact details  in the « Sweet Moments » section)

As for the 3 large bedrooms , 2 are fitted with a double bed , one room has got 1 single beds . Each room has its own cupboard. For young children , special material are at your disposal if you ask for it (folding bed, chair , bath,…)
